Orion Construction began in 2018 with four employees working out of a small mezzanine office in Campbell Heights, Surrey. What started as a modest operation has grown into one of Western Canada’s leading design-build contractors.
Today, Orion manages a portfolio of more than ten million square feet in various stages of construction and development, including industrial, commercial, multi family, retail, and self storage projects. The company has been consistently recognized among British Columbia’s fastest growing businesses and earned national recognition in 2022 as one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies by The Globe and Mail.
Now a team of eighty and expanding across British Columbia, including Vancouver Island, and into Calgary, Orion remains grounded in the values that defined its early days: a determined team, a commitment to integrity, strong relationships, and a focus on building the places where people work, live, and connect.

Completes first two industrial projects: Hayer Business Centre and Cedar Coast South Surrey.
Diversifies portfolio with first commercial project: West 200 Office Building in Langley, BC.
First Industry Recognition: Earned 3 TCA Tilt-Up Achievement Awards.
Expands to 25 employees and moves into a new office in Langley. Launches Tenant Improvements and Multi-Family divisions. Named one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies by The Globe and Mail.
Delivers Coastal Heights Distribution Centre, Skechers’ first Canadian distribution hub. Expands operations to Vancouver Island and BC’s Interior.
Breaks ground on 3 multi-family projects, marking a significant step into a new market. Team grows to over 80+ employees.
Opens Vancouver Island office. Expands into Calgary with a new project secured.
