Holland Imports Tenant Improvements
Holland Imports chose Chilliwack to consolidate the distribution centres for their business, which previously had operations spanning Calgary, Delta, and Burnaby. The eight-acre site houses a new 175,000 sq. ft facility that is designed to be 36 feet clear in the warehouse area and has a sizable office component for the staff. Orion Construction built out a 4,500 sq ft. office and an ancillary warehouse amenity space. The warehouse featured 5 offices to house the shipping staff, including a full washroom and first-aid facility. The two-story office consisted of 2 board rooms, a large lunchroom, closed and open office space, a robust server room, and a staff change room location. In addition to the office, Orion managed the Racking design and installation with a Racking partner to support the needs of the 36’ clear warehouse.
